Tonight between 5-7 p.m., be sure to check out Collision #20, one of 12 free encounters included in the Out of Site Chicago project, which provides a performance every Friday through Oct. 12th at various locations throughout the SSA #33/WPB taxing district, targeting commuters as they leave work.
Collision #20 “deconstructs the relationship between music and dance by creating blind dates between musicians and dancers. Forced into a kind of listening that cannot be achieved by the more classical choreography-plus-accompaniment format, sounders and movers make new work in the moment.”
