11AM-7Pm: Holstein Park’s 100th Anniversary Party. There will be 14 food trucks, live music all day, activities for the kids. A $5 suggested donation for entry benefits the historic field house renovations. Read more about this in the 32nd Ward newsletter.  2200 N. Oakley (map it).

Noon–6PM: Vintage Heaven Gallery BIG Sale… It only happens 6X yearly, and when it does, fan of vintage clothing, jewelry, and accessories luck out! We love these wooden sandals, at left, by vendor Jenstyle. This weekend’s sale is titled ‘Clothes and Culture.’ The space is on the second floor Heaven Gallery, above Lubinksi Furniture, 1550 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Noon to 6PM: Gallery hours for ARC, the newest local gallery, at 2156 N. Damen (next to Bucktown Beanery). The Pipeline stopped by last night, to see ARC’s July show featuring three artists. We snapped this photo of Jan Parker’s Beneath the Skin.. An extension of My DNA. The piece, about the size of a studio apartment, contains hair from hundreds of anonymous donors.

While you’re there, stop by Red & White’s neighbor, Sterling Goss, 1845 N. Oakley, for some meat to go with your wine. Mention ‘pipeline’ at the register for a 4% 4th of July week discount, too!
