Wednesday, June 20th -Movie-in-the-Park The Wizard (1989)- Sponsored by The Wormhole Coffee – Free at Dusk- Field. According to the IMDb, the Wizard is about a boy and his brother who run away from home and hitch cross country with the help of a girl they meet to compete in the ultimate video game championship. Perhaps a Movies-in the Park after party at Emporium Arcade Bar, 1366 N. Milwaukee Ave., slated to officially open tomorrow, will be in order?
Friday, June 22 – Wicker Mic at 6pm-9pm – Come and Perform or Listen to Others – Field Near Schiller
Sunday, June 24 – Farmers’ Market 8am-2pm- along the park’s entrance. Magic Boat Puppet Show – 11am-noon – Playground
