People Lounge, 1560 N. Milwaukee, rolled out its summer brunch service yesterday. The Pipeline was there to celebrate this new news! Check out the entire menu virtually and look for it in the upcoming printed edition of the pipeline. Considering it’s a holiday weekend, the important things you should know is that 1) There’s $10 All-You-Can-Drink Mimosas, Sangria, and Cava, that you can enjoy at People between 11 am- 2pm today with the purchase of any of these entrees and 2) People’s sidewalk cafe is open. Brunch hours are 11 am – 5 pm.
From 3-6PM today, visit Pinch Spice Market, 1913 N. Milwaukee, for ‘Memorial Day Meat Mania.’ A flier in the window said, “Come to our shop to celebrate the majesty of meat, flame, & spice!” The event will teach you how to make BBQ sauce using raw spices, offer BBQ tips and techniques, and at the very end you can sample a smoked brisket.
