From 10:30AM-5:30PM today, El Rincon Azteca, 1754 W. North (former Crepe Crave space) is hosting a Neighbor Appreciation Day.

So stop by and sample some small bites and meet the neighborhood’s newest authentic Mexican restaurant.

From 2-5PM, there’s a free wine tasting at Red & White Wine Shop, 1861 N. Milwaukee Ave.

After you sample some wine, or perhaps buy a bottle, stop by Red & White’s neighbor, Sterling Goss, 1845 N. Oakley (at Milwaukee) for, per SG’s FB page, “Three kinds of bacon, nine kinds of sausage, pork chops and tenderloins, smoked LaPryor hams and hocks. Make your weekend a porky one.”

There’s many more events brewing today and we’d write more, as we usually do, but we have a printed magazine to work on!

If you enjoy our “virtual pipeline,” now approaching 100,000 unique visits, consider becoming part of the printed version, published just twice yearly. Deadline May 16th.  30,000 printed copies. Almost 60 businesses participating thus far! Details here or call 773-960-3997.
