Last month The Pipeline reported on a meeting pertaining to a new development in the works for the Miller Lumber property at 1815 W. Division.
Via this East Village Association Update, it appears as if the developers, Smithfield Properties, listened to the EVA’s Scott Rappe, pictured, when he and others expressed concerns about the height of the proposed five-story building, which included four retail spaces on the street level, two of which were at that time planned to be Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants.
Pictured is ‘draft one,’ containing five stories.
For ‘Draft 2,’ a four-story structure, check out the revised plan on the EVA blog to learn more.
1st Ward Ald. Moreno has called for a public meeting on Tues. April 26th at 6:30 PM in the LaSalle School Gym, 1148 N. Honore, to discuss the revised plan.
