Eva is playing hooky from her column today.
Though before she dashed off to participate in the @properties Friends and Neighbors Community Fund and chaparon youths on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Field Museum, she shared the following news.
There were just three properties that changed hands in Wicker Park and Bucktown* this past week. Two were detached single family homes, and one was an attached condo, as follows:
1942 N Wilmot 3 bedroom 2 bath 2 Story house $463,000 – Pictured
1730 W Pierce 3 bedroom 2.1 bath 2 Story house $560,000
Sold – Attached Single
1137 N Wood #3H 2 bedroom 2 bath Garage, Condo, Duplex, Loft $390,000
((ED. note: What’s interesting about the 1942 N. Wilmot sale is the fact that just a couple weeks back, its neighboring house, a multi-unit, at 1944 N. Wilmot, pictured, was also sold, for $540,000. Is there a double lot tear-down on the horizon, or is this just coincidence?))
