Wicker Lily

When we last left our local lovebirds, they’d just engaged in a bit of naughty shopping in advance of Valentine’s Day night! Wicker Lily, the beautiful, curvy girlfriend of Buck Tom, had selected pretty panties, a sexy corset, a purple kimono, and a scented massage candle to set the mood for the big night.  She also scooped up a couple of adult toys, all from her favorite boutique for all her’s and Buck Tom’s bedroom needs, G Boutique, just south of Damen and Fullerton Avenues.  Buck Tom, the hood’s most eligible bachelor-turned-doting husband 14 fateful years ago, had popped into another awesome shop, Couple’s Corner, at Damen and Division. This hopeful horn dog found a few items for his lady, including seductive pumps, as well as a collection of steamy sex toys both for the bathtub and the bed!

Now that their night was filled with the essentials for a passionate golden anniversary, the couple hit the streets in search of thoughtful gifts to give each other at dinner, preferably a little more PG-13 rated!  Buck Tom’s first stop was where he first caught a glance of his amazing bride, at Margie’s Candies.  Located at 1960 N. Western, the old-fashioned ice cream parlor and confectionery was filled with delicious aromas, from freshly dipped milk chocolates to sundaes delivered in sexy clam shaped bowls.  Lately, Wicker Lily was ALWAYS craving chocolate!  A fan of her voluptuous body, he never got in the way of her fondness for candy. So he scooped up her favorite turtle chocolates.  He also got a heart shaped box of chocolates, which Wicker Lily found cliche.  So, why was he getting them?  Hmmm…

Buck Tom’s next stop was to pick up Wicker Lily’s favorite flowers.  And no, they’re not lilies! She loved roses of all different colors, so Isabella’s Bridal and Flowers, 1547 N. Western, had a perfect deal: a $14.99 mixed roses bouquet, according to the owner, Eloisa. Buck Tom mentioned his favorite local news source, Chicago Pipeline, and even got an extra 10% off! Get your order in by February 13th and you can get the same special treatment, too.

Wicker Lily had a completely different shopping agenda.  Her first stop was Corseterie  for a sexy custom Valentine’s outfit.  She immediately gazed upon an adorable jumper decorated with beautiful patterns, hearts, and skeletons.  She also spotted a Vienna Stripe Ensemble consisting of a skirt, bolero, corset, and hat.  The under bust corset would also compliment her blouse.  She snapped a few pics to show you guys, so take a look and let her know your opinion!  Or stop by Corsetiere Custom Apparel at 1514 N Ashland and see if you see anything sexy enough to drive Buck Tom buck wild! Mention the Chicago Pipeline for a hook-up on a custom order, too.

While trying on some clothes, Wicker Lily’s phone rang.  It was her sweetheart, Buck Tom!  He asked her if she had chosen a restaurant to have dinner at on Valentine’s Day.  Though last week she couldn’t recall where she’d eaten the most amazing Fried Pork Medallions, she’s was walking on Armitage when she noticed a sign for Cafe Laguardia’s Medieval Valentine’s Dinner, slated for both Feb. 14th and the 15th. Considering it “a sign,”  she told him she found the perfect place!

Plus, Buck Tom loved Renaissance Fairs and Medieval Times, where silverware is optional, so the two were sure to enjoy the dinner at 2111 W. Armitage.  But there was a problem.  One of the corsets she was trying on would not snap!  All she had to eat today was a holiday themed “$1 Yesterday’s cup cake” from Red Hen Bread and three-fourths of a baguette. The corset was the right size, so why out of nowhere would her corset not snap shut?!

So many unanswered questions loom between the seeming perfect couple.  Why was Buck Tom buying a heart shaped box of chocolates?  Was it for someone else (let’s hope his mom!)?  Why can’t Lily fit in her clothes?  Is there another secret present she has for Buck Tom this Valentine’s Day?  And most importantly guys, help us decide Wicker Lily’s outfit!  If that box of chocolates isn’t for her, help her win Buck Tom’s heart back by looking sexier than ever!  Stay tuned for the next chapter in The Valentine’s Day Adventures of Wicker Lily and Buck Tom!
