Happy almost Halloween! Here’s our roundup, below, as well as a few festive images snapped by either myself or Philin Phlash, who popped by Great America’s annual Fright Fest in Gurnee. 10AM-2PM: FREE Boo-Palooza in Wicker Park – (1425 N.  Damen, Park Grounds)

Noon-5PM: FREE: Indoor Halloween Farmers Market, costumes encouraged, music by Sunny Side Up (Empty Bottle)

Noon-2P: $5 per kid:  Color Wheel Studio is hosting a HALLOWEEN CUPCAKE DECORATING EVENT!  Delicious cupcakes and scary sugary toppings by the Goddess and Grocer and a drink is included too. Limited space. RSVP required, Email jenn@goddessandgrocer.com

2-3:15: FREE: Fortune telling, face-painting, tattoos Halloween Party (Commercial Park, 1845 W. Rice)

2PM-6PM: $5 per kid, adults free: St. Mary of the Angels Halloween Party

2PM: Kid and Dog Costume Parade (Haas Park, Logan Square)

10AM-2PM: Free for all ages, including  Costume Contests with prizes, Pumpkin Painting & crafts, Halloween Story time, Costume Photos, Cupcakes & Treats. (Bullfrogs & Butterflies)

Monday Oct. 31st

ALL DAY: Myopic Books, 1564 N. Milw., will be offering a FREE childrens’ book, one per child, must be accompanied by an adult, while supplies last, during Halloween. Read on!

10AM-6PM: Trick or Treat: Stop by Lubinski’s Furniture, 1550 N. Milw., and get a treat from The Pipeline! Look for us at the desk on the furniture sales room floor aka our “Monday pop up office.” We promise to give your young ones the cheapest tooth rotting candy we can possibly find! Just look for the blue hair…  oh wait, we may have given the wig away to a friend’s child… 

ALL DAY LONG: Kids eat free at Cafe Con Leche on Monday the 31st! (With the purchase of an adult entree, max. two kids per adult)

3:30-5PM: Halloween Stop featuring “warm treats” and toy treats that won’t rot your teeth, in front of Letizia’s and Building Blocks, 2130 W. Division
