An all-electric eBus and e6 road show is headed to a parking lot near you, namely to the Burr School parking lot, 1621 W. Wabansia, just off Ashland, beginning tomorrow (WED) July 7. The wheels of the bus will be going round and round from 10AM-4PM from the 7th though the 17th.
Manfactured by BYD, the first auto manufacturer in the world to launch Fe Battery Operated Electric Vehicle (according to its press release), BYD’s electric bus is a new-energy, new-power and new-concept full electric bus. An Fe battery and in-wheel motor drive comprise the vehicle’s core technology. The bus (again, according to its press release) offers the longest range for a pure-electric passenger vehicle in the world.
“BYD firmly believes that green technology can change the world and BYD will continue to lead the new energy revolution to help people solve environment issues,” asserted Stella Li, SVP of BYD Limited and President of BYD’s American outpost.
