Laughter, Check. Irony, Check. Breasts…

FELLOWSHIP OF THE BOOBS Do you enjoy laughter, irony and breasts? If so, Fellowship Of The Boobs is a definite “must see.” Presented by Gorilla TangoTheatre and Geek Girl Burlesque, created/directed by MsPixy, this show puts the “Ta” in “Ta-riffic!” The show is a burlesque homage/mash-up of LOTR, D&D, WoW – with references to Super Mario Brothers, The Matrix, and in the climax, the 1982 Disney film Tron. The show centers around the four main expository characters; The Elf (Dinah Dentada), The Warrior (London Derrier), The Dwarf (Hazel Hellbender), and The Mysterious Zemrat (Diva la Vida) on their quest for  - something or other – and along the way there are fight scenes, laughter and breasts. Solid standout performances by all four as well as the supporting cast, who refuse to let the main characters steal the show. As well as being a comedy, the show busts (sorry) through the 4th wall and interacts with the audience inviting the viewer along on the quest (think Tony & Tina’s Wedding, but topless). FOTB is chock full of pop culture references and solid one liners packed tightly in quick succession like The Simpsons (years ago when it was still good) and yo u can easily miss some of the jokes if you’re, um, easily distracted. Highly Recommended.
